We’ve Always Been Open. Now We’re Pushing Harder.

At Redesign Records, we’ve always kept our doors open to artists from all backgrounds. Talent, vision, and dedication have always guided our choices. But after attending a powerful session on bias in the music industry at ADE, hosted by BumaStemra and led by Nadine Pertsch, one thing became crystal clear:

Being open isn’t enough.
For many female and gender-diverse producers, getting heard is still an uphill battle.

We listened to stories of artists being booked only if they’re in a relationship with the right person, or losing opportunities for challenging bias in the system. These aren’t isolated experiences. They reflect the reality of a scene that still has blind spots. And we’re not okay with that.

So today, we want to say it clearly:

If you’re a female or gender-diverse techno producer, we want to hear from you. drop your track

We’re looking for powerful, purposeful techno. Music that moves people. Artists who want to grow with us and reshape what this space can be.

We’re not checking boxes. We’re building community. And we know that takes intention, not just openness.
